QWE Bridge to Practice
Apply now for BARBRI's 2026 Six-Month Qualifying Work Experience Programme!
We have partnered once again with Sequentus to sponsor 10 fully-funded places for BARBRI SQE Prep students on a career-enhancing QWE programme starting this summer. The successful applicants will receive six weeks of skills training, followed by part-time, virtual work experience over another six months.
The training will focus on casework skills, being able to read, digest and analyse complex cases, and then assist with the preparation of cases for hearings. These will be delivered online through a combination of live workshops and supervision sessions. Those who successfully complete the training will then start working remotely on active cases for 15 hours per week over six months, equalling three months of official QWE.
The programme is available to all our BARBRI SQE1 Prep students currently preparing for the July 2026 exam, and SQE1 Prep alumni who haven't yet enrolled in our SQE2 course.
The scheme kicks off at the beginning of August and we're currently open for applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to increase your employability and develop your confidence to enter the legal sector!
Applications close on Friday 12th June at 5pm.
To be eligible, you must be available to attend the live online information session with Sequentus and BARBRI on Monday 22nd June at 1pm. This session will not be recorded, and if you do not attend, you will not be eligible for the scheme.
