Future-Proof Your Firm: A Practical Guide to SQE Planning
There’s no single blueprint for SQE success – but there is practical support from early adopters who are already reaping the rewards. We've created a guide to share what we’ve learned from working with SME law firms across the UK including, common roadblocks and how to overcome them, as well as breaking down how Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) works in practice.

Our walking shoes proudly participated in the London Legal Walk, a fantastic event that supports free legal advice services and promoting fair and equal access to justice.
Donations we received went towards London Legal Support Trust, who raises funds to help maintain free legal advice charities in London and the South East.
It was a great day of teamwork, energy and being able to walk alongside others across the legal community for a great cause. A huge congratulations to everyone who participated and made a real difference.
Legal Tech Talk took place at London The O2 this year brought together legal professionals eager to shape the industry with the latest trends and technology. We got to learn from experts in various panels and our Chief Growth Officer, Lucie Allen, spoke on a talk on what can be done to make the legal profession better.
Pre-register now for LegalTechTalk next year and ensure you're part of the conversation that's shaping the future.
Earlier this month, we attended Crafty Fest and had a great time, as usual! Head of New Business and Account Management Victoria Fearne, Chief Growth Officer Lucie Allen, Business Development Director Emma Cavendish and Learning Director Alisa Gray joined around 900 in-house legal professionals over two days in London to learn, connect and share their expertise.
Among many workshops and subjects covered – such as shareholder disputes and workplace investigations – Alisa held an interactive session on beating imposter syndrome within the legal sector with Associate Counsel at Mondelez International, Tetiana Tishchenko.
This year's Crafty Fest was both inspiring and thought-provoking, a valuable opportunity to connect with industry peers and recognise the importance of innovation in the in-house legal profession.
I Used BARBRI For Both SQE1 and SQE2 and Passed Both Exams First Time
I found the prep courses great, particularly SQE1 which was very comprehensive. I had access to the SQE2 course twice (I was due to sit the exams but gave birth before I could!) and I noticed that the course had improved in the meantime with more of a focus on making sure you revised FLK as well as learning the skills needed for SQE2. Would recommend them!
